Detail

This body of works consists of dozens of small-scale sculptures taking the shape of interior fragments or furniture. All together forming a personal vocabulary of interiors, the surfaces are painted and treated as a body or a skin, creating a dynamic tension between object and function and between abstraction and representation, interior and exterior. Years in the making, the intimate scale of these works—the size of my hands—creates a self-contained world apart that invites close attention to detail, to the things around us, and to the world we inhabit.
